Kosovo Chamber of Commerce has strongly reacted against the damage sustained by several Albanian businesses in Serbia.
In a press releases issued today, KCC said that it’s worried about the vandal acts of the destruction of Albanian businesses and properties in Serbia.
“We believe that such approach is not in the spirit of normalizing relations between Republic of Kosovo and Serbia and it doesn’t support the agreements signed in Brussels”, says the press release.
According to KCC, property is sacred and it’s the duty of every citizen to protect it.
KCC has appealed to domestic and international institutions in Kosovo and Serbia to do their best in order to protect Albanian businesses in Serbia.
“We promote the region and for this, barriers between member countries must be lifted, dialogue and economic cooperation must be pushed forward and economic processes must not become political because economy is the main warranty of strengthening political agreements”, reads the statement.
KCC says that such events taken place in Serbia, do not favor Serbia in its European path, adding that they do not even help normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. /ibna/
