The assessment that there will be an agreement with the lenders “in the coming hours” expressed the Defence Minister Panos Kammenos with his statements on ANT1 television, warning however that if until June 5 no solution is found, Greece will not pay the installment to the IMF.
He said that so far the ones that have gone back on their loan agreements are the creditors as “Greece from August last year has been paying the instalments to the lenders and the costs for the operation of the state, without having received a penny”.
He also stressed that the agreement sought will not step over the red lines set by the Greek people, and appeared confident that this agreement will be passed by the House and voted by all the parties and MPs who support the government.
