The vice chairman of the delegation of the European Parliament for Southeastern Europe, Slovenian MEP Jelko Kacin said that he’s worried about the developments in FYR Macedonia.
Kacin declared this for the media in FYR Macedonia, after European Parliament gave the green light to the Resolution for the progress of this country as far as EU integration process is concerned.
“It’s time for leaders in FYR Macedonia to realize that the integration of the country depends entirely on them”, said Kacin expressing his concern about the freedom of media and lack of dialogue between the majority and opposition.
According to him, political leaders of this country must do everything within their power to insure the European future of their country and also find compromise about the name dispute with Greece.
Slovenian MEP, Kacin said that Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and the Prime Minister of Greece, Samaras must learn from the agreement reached in Brussels between Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci and that of Serbia, Ivica Dacic. Kacin also said that leaders in FYROM must invest more in improving relations between different ethnicities in the country. /ibna/
