Majlinda Kelmendi, the judo fighter from Kosovo has qualified for the third group round in the judo World Championship, which is being held in Russia.
The judo fighter from Pec, qualified in the third round of the group stage after defeating the Venezuelan Vanessa Cortesia.
Majlinda’s next opponent will be the Congolese Bundmaa Munkhbaatar.
Kelmendi’s aim is to win at least one medal in this important judo event.
Since the start of her career, Kelmendi has earned a great number of medals in the judo international arena.
In 2013, she became judo world champion in Brazil. Last year, she also got a golden medal in the international judo championship in Russia. /ibna/
