Reform in the justice system and the vetting process within the police force has led to the minister of Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj to hold an important meeting with heads of the most important institutions in the country.
This meeting aimed at securing the necessary cooperation between different institutions for the screening process within the State Police and the judicial system.
It is understood that present in this meeting was also the head of the High Inspectorate for the Declaration of Assets and the minister of Justice.
On his part, the Albanian minister of Justice has announced that the bill for the vetting process within police ranks has been finalized and that it will soon be sent to parliament for voting.
According to Xhafaj, the vetting process within police ranks will screen the integrity of police officers, from the lowest level to the highest one. /balkaneu.com/
