Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa has received in a meeting the deputy Prime Minister of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Musa Xhaferri, to discuss issues of cooperation between the two countries.
The two interlocutors expressed the possibility of holding joint meetings between the governments of Kosovo and FYR Macedonia, but also cooperation in all domains benefiting both countries.
“We agreed on the fact that there’s a number of domains where we must boost cooperation, such as economy, education, culture, construction, infrastructure, but also global issues which today concern both Kosovo and Macedonia and also neighboring countries. We are interested on boosting communication between ministries, in order to address issues that concern both countries, but also the region and Europe”, said Musfata in a news conference after the meeting.
Deputy PM Musa Xhaferri has thanked PM Mustafa for backing projects that between the two countries.
“We congratulate the government of Kosovo for the works in the highway linking Pristina to Skopje and we believe that we will make efforts in constructing the segment linking Bllace to Skopje. This will have an impact in the movement of goods and citizens. We also discussed on holding joint government meetings that will encourage respective ministries to ratify and draft agreements that are in favor of both governments”, said deputy PM Xhaferri. /ibna/
