The President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga met today in Dubrovnik with the president of Croatia, Ivo Josipovic, under the auspices of whom will be take place the summit of state leaders of Southeastern Europe.
Jahjaga and Josipovic talked about the need of cooperation between the countries of the region, namely in the domain of energy and infrastructure and economy, by building good neighboring relations, which helps the European perspective of each country.
Both presidents said that the Balkan Region must join forces for the integrating process and cooperation between the countries, which would help to support joint regional projects from the EU, reports the president’s press office.
Jahjaga and Josipovic said that the European perspective of the Western Balkan must be clear and integration must only be achieved by building good neighboring relations.
President Jahjaga will participate in the Brdo-Brioni Summit, which this year is hosted in Dubrovnik, under the auspices of the Croatian president, Josipovic and the participation of the German chancellor, Angela Merkel.
The Brdo-Brioni summit is a joint incentive of the presidents of Slovenia and Croatia to help the countries of southeastern Europe in the process of European integration. /ibna/
