President of FYROM, George Ivanov has commented today the recommendation issued by the European Commission for the country to open its accession talks with the European Union.
Ivanov made this declaration at the start of the meeting of heads of intelligent agencies of the countries participating in the Brdo-Brion process which is held in Skopje.
“The future of our region is in the European Union. Meanwhile, some of the member countries say that they’re tired from the process of enlargement. This happens because the Balkans is perceived as a region which is not stable”, said Ivanov. FYROM’s president also demanded NATO and EU to be more active in the process of enlargement. /ibna/
