The newly elected president of FYR Macedonia, George Ivanov received a certificate for the new mandate as the president of the country today by the State Election Commission. The certificate was handed to Ivanov by the member of SEC, Bedredin Ibraimi.
Besides Ibraimi, the president was also congratulated by the other members such as Vlatko Sajkovski, Saxho Srcev and Aneta Stefanovska.
The chairman of SEC, Nikola Rilokovski did not congratulate Ivanovski along with the vice chairman Subhi Jakupi and member Violeta Duma.
For Ivanov, the candidate of VMRO-DPMNE and coalition “For a better Macedonia”, this is the second presidential mandate.
According to the final results issued by SEC, in the second round presidential elections held on Sunday, April 27, Ivanov received 534.910 votes, while his rival from LSDM, Stevo Pendarovski received 393 877 votes. /ibna/
