President of FYROM, George Ivanov has requested from the European Union to unblock the European integration process. Ivanov said this following a meeting with the head of the European Council and other European officials during the Crans Montana Forum held in Brussels.
“With this status quo, Macedonia is not being allowed to prosper. The EU should take urgent steps to unblock Macedonia’s integration process, which is irreversible”, president Ivanov said.
According to the president’s office, the European officials have expressed their support for FYROM and its engagement in fulfilling all the reforms and obligations needed to become part of the EU. During his stay in Brussels, Ivanov has also met with Belgian state authorities. /balkaneu.com/
