Speaker of the parliament of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, held a meeting today with the Italian ambassador to Kosovo, Andreas Ferrarese.
In this meeting, Veseli said that Italy’s support in Kosovo’s integration processes is important for the citizens of Kosovo.
He said that cooperation between the two parliaments, especially in the domains that relate to economic growth and investments, are of a mutual interest.
Veseli stressed the importance of Italy’s contribution in the historical processes that the country has gone throughand the support given for the Euro Atlantic process.
Speaker Veseli and ambassador Ferrarese also discussed over the current developments in parliament, focusing on the priorities of this legislature during 2015, neighboring and regional relations and especially, relations between Kosovo and Serbia and their constant improvement.
Ambassador Ferrarese backed the normalization of these relations, focusing on the improvement of the business climate, creation of new jobs and improvement of living standards, not only in Kosovo, but throughout the region.
The two interlocutors agreed on boosting cooperation between Kosovo and Italy in the domain of legislation, stressing that Kosovo is an attractive country for investments. /ibna/
