Italy wants to boost trade volumes with Kosovo

Italian embassy in Kosovo is interested in boosting commerce between Italian businesses and the ones in Kosovo.

Today, large Italian companies made a presentation of their activity in front of representatives of businesses from Kosovo and the Ministry of Commerce.

Representatives of these companies that want to increase Italian investments in Kosovo and cooperation between the two countries, said that there’s great potential in this aspect and such cooperation should benefit both countries.

Vice ambassador of Italy to Kosovo, Salvatore Marino received today the head of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gerxhaliu and representatives of the Ministry of Commerce, to see the projects of Italian companies which are interested on collaborating with Kosovo businesses.

Amid these companies there’s “Block Stem” and “Gatelock Van”, experienced businesses operating in many countries.

Head of the Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gerxhaliu said that these companies show that Italy’s economic power has not been exploited as it should have.

Besian Mustafa from the Ministry of Commerce said that Italy remains one of the main trade partners for Kosovo.

During these meetings it was said that Italian companies are not only interested to be present in Kosovo in the form of classic trade, but also interested to advance with this form of cooperation in advanced ways. /ibna/
