The fatal earthquake that caused at least 247 dead in Italy, has also claimed the life of an Albanian emigrant. Meanwhile, seven other Albanians are fighting with death due to the serious injuries that they have sustained.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed for IBNA that the Albanian victim was Erjon Toro.
Meanwhile, seven Albanian women are in the hospitals of Rome, Rieti and Aquila.
The earthquakes that struck Italy were continuous on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the most fatal one was that of 6,2 magnitude of the Richter scale. The number of victims is seeing a rise.
Meanwhile, Thursday started with a series of earthquakes in Aquila, causing panic among survivors. They were 4,5 on the Richter scale, with their epicenter in Accumoli and Arquata, which are the two of the most affected areas from the earthquake of Wednesday morning.
