Italian cinematographer, Luca Bigazzi is the winner of the special prize “Golden Camera 300” in the 35th International Festival “Manaki Brothers” in Manastir (Bitola), which this year will be held from 13 to 19 September, 2014.

The jury of this festival has decided to award the main prize to the Italian cinematographer and director, Luca Bigazzi, for his film project “La grande Bellezza”, which also won an award in the “Oscar” festival.

“Bigazzi is the winner of this year’s festival jubilee. What’s important is that our festival is among the first ones that discovered the talent of the Italian cinematographer since 1997, when his first film was presented. His films have been traditionally been part of our festival and we’re honored by the success of this cinematographer”, declared the directress of the Festival, Labina Mitevska.

Bigazzi was born in 1958 in Milan and is one of the most active Italian cinematographers, while his career so far has registered 20 international awards and nominations. /ibna/
