Investments in Serbia increase by 21.4%

Recorded investments in Serbia in the course of 2012 saw a year-on-year increase of 21.4 percent, while investments in new fixed assets went up by 23.4 percent relative to 2011, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Results of the annual survey “Investments in Fixed Assets” indicate that, observed by regions, 44.3% of investments in 2012 were realized in the region of Belgrade, 23.6% in Vojvodina, 23.3% in Sumadija (central Serbia) and West Serbia, and 8.8% in the region of South and East Serbia.
