Interpol has removed 18 people from the list of Kosovo nationals wanted by Serbia, among them the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj.
The was done upon the request of the UN Mission to Kosovo, UNMIK.
UNMIK official, Sanam Dollatshah says that in December 2016, Interpol was sent a note issued by the authorities of Kosovo, demanding the revocation of international arrest warrants issued for 20 nationals of Kosovo that Serbia accuses of war crimes.
Meanwhile, the Serb ministry of Justice said that it has not yet received any notification from Interpol to revoke the arrest warrant against the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj.
On the other, the Serb High Court says that the arrest warrant for the head of the Kosovo government remains in power.
Yesterday, the Serb minister, Aleksandar Vulin issued a strong reaction yesterday, saying that the arrest warrant against Haradinaj will not be revoked. /balkaneu.com/
