International poetry festival in Struga

The 54th edition of the international poetry festival “Struga Poetry Nights” is taking place in Struga.

Around 50 poets from different countries of the world are participating in this festival, while the festival was opened by the winner of the “Golden Crown” award last year, Adonis Ali Ahmad Said Esber, the Syrian poet that lives in France.

Ceremonies and activities have taken place in the framework of the festival with the participation of notable poets such as Bei Dao from China, Paula Bozalongo from Spain, Visar Zhiti from Albania, Philip Hammial from Australia, Jesus Supelveda from Chile, Linda Maria Baros from France, etc. The festival will continue until 31 August. /ibna/
