Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has had the end of the year meeting today with foreign ambassadors accredited in Kosovo.
Thaci said that this meeting has discussed “key issues” starting with the dialogue with Serbia, accession of Kosovo in the European Council, creation of Kosovo’s Armed Forces and endorsement of SAA.
Thaci said among others that Kosovo will collaborate for the creation of the Special Court.
“Kosovo needs to create a specialized court which will be based in a European country to secure transparent and credible inquiries in relation to accusations that can result from the work of the Investigative Special Task Force. Kosovo has collaborated with many justice institutions in the post war period, from the Hague Tribunal to the UNMIK and EULEX mission. It will continue to work with the last legal institution in order to conclude the painful chapter of the 1999 war. In order to make the difference between myths and facts and reveal the truth on alleged crimes, we will fully cooperate with the creation of the Special Court which will function in the framework of Kosovo’s domestic legal system”, Thaci declared. /ibna/
