While reviewing economic growth in Albania for previous years, Institute of Statistics has reported figures which report a drop, differing from the figures reported before.
Thus, initial reported growth for 2015 was 2.69%, while INSTAT reported today that this growth was 2.23%.
“In 2015, Albanian economy registered a 2.23% growth compared to 2014, following a 1.77% growth in 2014, compared to 2013”, INSTAT says.
Meanwhile, Gross Domestic Product in 2015 was estimated to be 1.418.799 million lek, equal to 10.2 billion euros and in 2014 it was 1.395.305 million lek or 10 billion euros.
“GDP per capita in 2015 was 496 thousand lek or 3.547 euros as opposed to 483 thousand lek or 3.450 euros in 2014”, INSTAT figures report among others. /balkaneu.com/
