Albania is registering fewer road accidents and as a result, fewer victims caused by them.
This was recently announced by the Institute of Statistics. According to the experts of this institution, in the month of April alone, there have been 150 road accidents.
“Compared to April 2016, the number of accidents has dropped by 14.8%”, they explain, adding that the number of people involved in accidents is 190 as opposed to 222 a year ago, while in the first four months of this year, the number of people involved in accidents dropped by 7.2% compared to the same period a year ago.
“In 91.3% of the cases, road accidents have occurred as a result of the behavior of the drivers. Meanwhile, the highest number of accidents has been caused by people aged 25-35”, the experts of the Institute of Statistics say. /balkaneu.com/
