Indian businesses are interested to invest in Kosovo

A delegation of entrepreneurs from India has met today with representatives of the Kosovo Business Alliance (KBA), in order to discuss investment opportunities in Kosovo.

Indian businesses are ready to invest in Kosovo. This was said by a group of Indian entrepreneurs who are have visited the country.

The head of KBA, Agim Shahini, briefed Indian businesses about the opportunities that Kosovo offers for doing business, opportunities which are more favorable than other countries of the region.

Shahini said that Kosovo has advanced in terms of legislation compared to other countries, something, which according to him, has brought many foreign investors in the country.

“While India is a powerful country, Kosovo is a small country with big potentials for foreign investments, which can export in the surrounding countries. We invite you to invest in Kosovo, because besides favorable conditions, you can also use our country for production and expert to Balkan and EU countries”, said Shahini.

On the other hand, Harpret Singh, representative of businesses from India, said that they’re happy that they are in Kosovo to explore investment opportunities and potentials.

“We hope that India will soon boost cooperation with Kosovo”, said Singh.

Indian businesses were also interested to invest in the pharmaceutical domain, IT and food. /ibna/
