Summer holiday bookings in Greece look fine at the moment as there has been significant increase, said the British travel agent Thomas Cook on Tuesday. It might still be winter time, but apart from the bookings themselves, higher prices than the ones of last year are indeed the present case.
The 2017 economic results report of the company read, “The demand for holidays in Turkey and Egypt is very strong, and we expect it to reduce the margin pressures caused by high demand for Spain in 2016 and 2017.
Reservations for Greece and Cyprus have also significantly increased, following strong performance in summer 2017.”
The travel agency explained that bookings from the UK for the coming summer “are up 2% and the average selling price is up 6%, reports ANA-MPA…/IBNA
