Today, 1 April, marks the start of the implementation of the Agreement for Stabilization and Association reached between Kosovo and European Union last year.
Customs of Kosovo have made all preparations for the changes that will be effectuate as a result of this resolution.
The spokesman of the Customs of Kosovo, Adriatik Stavileci declared that customs are ready for its implementation.
He said that SAA “will reduce customs fees for five years, to 9% in the first year, while in the coming years, this reduction will occur gradually”.
The signing of SAA has been considered as one of Kosovo’s biggest achievements due to the numerous benefits that its implementation will bring.
This agreement will help Kosovo producers to enter the European market and also to boost commercial relations between Kosovo producers and EU producers. /ibna/
