IFIMES opinion poll: Majority of citizens will vote in favour of the name change
Two thirds of citizens in FYROM will offer their support for the referendum on the name, which gives way to the country’s accession in the NATO and EU, says the  International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) based in Ljubljana.

According to an opinion poll that this institute has carried out, 63,3% of the citizens will participate in the referendum which will be held on September 30 regarding the issue of the name, while 67,3% are in favour of the country’s accession in the EU and NATO, accepting the Prespa Agreement and the country’s new name “Republic of North Macedonia”. According to the opinion poll in question, only 17,4% of the citizens will not participate in the referendum, while 16,4% are against the country’s accession in the NATO and EU. /ibna/
