The transfer market has also closed in the domestic football league in FYR Macedonia. The most expensive acquisition was made by “Shkendija” football club from Tetovo, which is known to be as the richest club owned by businessman Lazim Destani and his company “Ecolog”.
This club has bought the Cameroonian player Mohammadou Idrissou, by paying a large sum which has not been made public by the club. Idrissou has played for big German clubs and he also plays for the Cameroonian national side.
The second important transfer was that of the Bosnian player, Senijad Ibric, who was bought by the Vardar of Skopje. He has played for Hajduk Split, Lokomotiva Moskva, Gaziantepspor, Ergjespor, etc.
Among other transfers are those of the Brazilian player Viktor Naldo and Nikola Vukcevic from Montenegro. The total number of foreign players transferred in the domestic league is 13. /ibna/
