MEP on FYROM, Richard Howitt has stressed that in case FYROM continues in a state of status quo, then there will be problems in this country and Brussels must realize this.
Howitt expressed this concern when he was asked as to what he expects from the European Council in the December meeting.
‘There will be a risk that the country will once again be left out. If this happens again, then there will be consequences for the country and Brussels should realize this”, said British MEP on FYROM, Richard Howitt.
He also called for political will for the solution of the name dispute to dominate and to do more to take the agenda of reforms forward and also to fulfill the recommendations of the enquiry committee on the events of December 24 of last year in the parliament of FYROM. MEP Howitt said that there must be a new momentum for the solution of the name dispute, which has turned into the main barrier for the integration of the country. /ibna/
