Process of EU integration, including regional cooperation, is contributing in Kosovo’s efforts to articulate policies that address the restrictions of economic growth and prevent convergence.
This was declared by the minister of Fiance of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti in the World Bank conference “Dialogue of Western Balkan politics on Investments, Jobs and Integration”, which was held in Vienna, Austria.
On this occasion, minister Hoti expressed his readiness to further contribute in what is becoming a good practice of communication between policy makers, experts and development partners of the Balkans.
“Regional cooperation is intentionally being placed under the umbrella of the process of European integration in order to stress the importance of the perspective of EU integration as the main booster of regional efforts in order to achieve the necessary stability to address structural difficulties”, minister Hoti added.
Minister Avdullah Hoti said that the effect of the process of integration in the EU has been particularly important in improving policy making in the domain of economy.
“We have approved a long term development strategy which determines the development vision and incorporates the aim to converge through improvement of the human capital, wellbeing, competitiveness and infrastructure. We have also prepared the strategy for the implementation of SAA objectives”, Hoti said.
Hoti also said that Kosovo has had a good year of cooperating with regional partners for the exchange of experiences in relation to EU integration. /balkaneu.com/
