Bosnia-Herzegovina qualified for its first World Cup as an independent nation and earned a spot in next year’s 32-nation field in Brazil.
B&H’s national football team (8-1-1) won 1-0 at Lithuania on Vedad Ibisevic’s 68th-minute goal to win Group G. Despite competing since the early 1990s, Bosnia and Herzegovina have never competed at the World Cup.

Given their impressive run in UEFA World Cup 2014 qualifying, Bosnia and Herzegovina must be considered a threat next summer in South America.
