A helicopter of the Albanian Armed Forces has crashed today in the north of the country. Two people are suspected to have died and one injured.
This happened in the afternoon, when a helicopter of the ministry of Defence, which had three people in it, crashed in the lake in Grizhe village in Malesi e Madhe, IBNA reports.
The helicopter of the Armed Forces is suspected to have had a mechanical problem while airborne and crashed in the lake of Shkoder.
The helicopter was an EC 145 and is one of the three helicopters recently bought in France for the Armed Forces.
In relation to this event, Chief of the Army’s General Staff, Jeronim Bazo is expected to come out in a press conference in a little while from the Ministry of Defence. To continue… /ibna/
