Head of OSCE, Wilton: The result of the elections must be accepted by all parties

The head of the OSCE Presence, Robert Wilton held a meeting today with the People’s Advocate, Igli Totozani. After the meeting, ambassador Wilton said that it’s important for the results of the elections to be accepted by all parties.
“I’m waiting on the final result of the mission for the monitoring of elections. I hope that it will be taken seriously. I hope that the process will be finalized accordingly and that all parties will accept the result”, said Wilton.
As far as the issue of properties is concerned, Wilton said that there must be a long term solution which would serve to further consolidation of democracy.
On his part, the People’s Advocate, Igli Totozani expressed his readiness for cooperation with the OSCE. “We represent two cooperating institutions in many fields. We recognize and value the contribution of OSCE for the strengthening of human rights in the mentality of our society”, said Totozani. /ibna/
