The head of Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), Ali Ahmeti, accompanied by the Minister of European Integration, Fatmir Besimi has continued with his diplomatic campaign by holding a visit to Norway, where he has held meetings at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ahmeti has met with the general director of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, Elisabeth Walaas, the political director of the Foreign Ministry, Wegger Strommen and the director for Western Balkan at the Foreign Ministry, Hokoon Blonkenborg.
The interlocutors discussed on the Euro Atlantic perspective of FYROM and the Western Balkan region.
Ahmeti stressed the importance of the acceleration of the integrating process of the country and the region in the NATO and European Union with the scope of preserving peace and stability in the region.
Integration of FYROM in the NATO and European Union is a priority of BDI and through partnership with the international community, this process can be achieved. /ibna/
