Leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj says that the Constitutional Court and president of the country, Atifete Jahjaga have joined PDK, by delaying the creation of institutions.
After the meeting held today between leaders of the opposition coalition, the prime minister nominee, Ramush Haradinaj, declared that independent institutions should have contributed in solving the crisis and not to keep sides.
“Before independence, Kosovo used to have a ‘referee’, which was either the chief administrator or an embassy of an ally country. After independence, the Constitutional Court and president serve as referees, but as you can see now, the president, Constitutional Court and outgoing prime minister have united. Thus, we have a parliamentary majority consisting on the LDK-AAK-Incentive and Self Determination coalition and we have a majority of institutions which have united”, said Haradinaj.
After the refusal of the president to ask extra clarifications from the Constitutional Court in overcoming the political crisis, the opposition bloc has called on the temporary speaker of parliament, Flora Brovina to call the constitutive session of parliament. /ibna/
