Prime minister Nikola Gruevski, accompanied by a government delegation, is in Turkey for an official visit.
According to the government press statement, the delegation is looking for Turkish investors. Yesterday and today, the delegation is participating in a business forum being held in the city of Kocael.
In his speech in this forum, PM Gruevski declared that his country offers suitable conditions for foreign investors, especially for Turkish investors.
“We’re more focused in creating a better climate and this is our priority, which will encourage companies to make fresh investments. We’re a cheap country to do business. We offer the best taxation packages and we have simplified procedures for their payment. Tax on profits and tax on personal earnings is only 10%, the lowest in Europe”, declared Gruevski.
In the days to come, the government delegation will participate in business forums taking place in Ankara, Adana and Mersin. On Wednesday, PM Gruevski will meet with the new Turkish president, Recep Tayip Erdogan and prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu. /ibna/
