Prime minister and leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski declared today that the request of the opposition for technical government doesn’t solve the political crisis in FYR Macedonia.
He said this before the start of political dialogue with the Macedonian opposition about the normalization of the political situation in the country.
“The technical government is not a proposal which may take the country out of the crisis. I believe that the political crisis came as a result of the fact that Macedonian Social Democratic League (LSDM) gave up on its parliamentary mandates”, said Gruevski.
Gruevski hopes that LSDM will not cause further damages to the country and citizens. “I hope that these negotiations start and once they’re concluded, I hope that LSDM will no longer damage the interests of the country”, declared the prime minister.
The negotiations are expected to start this afternoon for a solution to the political crisis, which started after the decision of the opposition not to recognize the April 27 elections and its parliament boycott. /ibna/
