Prime Minister of FYROM, Nikola Gruevski continues his visit in the USA, in the framework of a tour to attract American investors and present the capacities and potentials of the country for investments. The last stop for Gruevski has been Chicago, where in front of American companies of the state of Illinois, he has presented the offer of the government for investments in the country.
In the business forum, Gruevski said that the government is focused on improving the economy and creating the necessary conditions for foreign investors. “During last year, the country has seen a 4,1% economic growth, which is the highest in Europe. This is a positive indicator, because we’re applying policies which contribute to a healthy and sustainable economy. The government is also focused on creating a better business climate and this is our main concern”, declared Gruevski in front of American entrepreneurs.
According to him, the country offers concessions for investors, such as in taxes, purchase of land, customs concessions and other business concessions.
Head of the Department for Free Economic Zones, Viktor Mizo said that Chicago has been selected as a destination, because in this place there’s a large concentration of global companies and they can be acquainted with the capacities and potentials of our country, which offers very good conditions for foreign investors.
Prime Minister Gruevski has also held business meetings in several other US cities, while his agenda doesn’t include so far any meetings with the American administration. /ibna/
