Greek President to go on an official visit to Italy

Official visit to Italy from 26 to November 27 will hold the Greek President, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, accepting the invitation of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.

During the first day of his stay in Italy, Pavlopoulos, who will be accompanied by his wife, he will meet with his Italian counterpart Matarela and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Bolntrini.

In the second day he will first visit the archaeological site Domus Aurea and then the Greek church of the Martyr Theodore of Tyron. He will also visit the site of the Embassy residence where the ceremony will take place to  give the medal of honorary professor of Modern Greek at the University of Palermo, Vincenzo Rotolo.

During his stay in Italy, MPavlopoulos will meet with representatives of foreign media, as well as with prominent Hellenists.
