“The relaxation of the economic embargo that EU imposed on Russia will benefit both EU and Russia and not only strictly from a financial point of view”, said Prokopis Pavlopoulos, the President of Greece, who is visiting Moscow at an invitation of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Management, which conferred at him an honorary doctorate.
After the ceremony and his meeting with the Chairman of the Russian Duma Sergey Naryshkin he also stated referring to the situation in Syria and the international problem with suicide bombers, that “we can face terrorism and the humanitarian crisis when all nations are united. We cannot tolerate this situation anymore, namely the wars, the refugee inflow, the downgrading of the human being, the humanitarian crisis and the bloodshed from terror attacks”.
Tomorrow Pavlopoulos will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
