Despite the bad “omens” and the negative attitude of many media and  despite the pessimism of quite a few credit rating agencies, there was an impressive  positive outcome for Greek economy: a surplus!

In particular, revenue cash-based budget in 2015 amounted to 51,406 bn euros, against a target of 49,491 bn euros. The excess, according to Finance Ministry  sources, is due to the payment of tax obligations, combined with a timid recovery of the economy.
