Greek industrialists: There is the need for a new industrial policy

“In the crucial negotiation conducted by the government with our European partners, we need rapid and effective alignment of all forces in the country, political, productive and social, in order to ensure the equal and perspective stay in the eurozone”, stress in a joint statement representatives of the Industrial Associations of the country, who met yesterday, Thursday, with Deputy Prime Minister, Giannis Dragasakis and Economy Minister, Giorgos Stathakis.

“The Industrial Associations of the country believe that to achieve a final and sustainable exit from the crisis we need a new industrial policy that will lead to productive reconstruction of the economy. We are ready to contribute in any way (positions, resources, studies) to the work of the government in this direction”, added the statement.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the: Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, Association of Attica and Piraeus, Federation of Industries of Northern Greece, Association of Industries of Thessaly and Central Greece, and Association of Industries of Peloponnese and Western Greece.
