Greek Foreign Minister is received with protests in Tirana

Some tens of members of “Tchameria” organization are holding a protest in front of the Albanian Foreign Ministry in Tirana, where a meeting is scheduled to take place in a few minutes between the two foreign ministers, Ditmir Bushati and Nikos Kotzias.

Protesters have blocked to sidewalks of the road, on the side of the Ministry and on the side of Lana River. On their hands, they hold banners with messages such as “Albania in the EU, lift the veto”, “Our mother Tchameri wait for us”, “Abolish the war law”, etc.

The leader of PDIU and deputy speaker of parliament, Shpetim Idrizi is also participating in the protest, but he said that he’s participation in this protest as part of the organization.

Meanwhile, the Greek Foreign Minister is expected to enter this meeting with his Albanian counterpart with a package of proposals which aims at putting an end to disagreements between the two countries. /balkaneu.com/
