The trade deficit for July 2019 stood at EUR 1,828.1 million (USD 2,023.1 million) compared to EUR 1,719.0 million (USD 1,982.2 million) in the same month of 2018, which represents a 6.3% increase, in euro. The corresponding value excluding petroleum products in July 2019 increased the deficit by EUR 47.5 million, or 3.1%, while the corresponding value excluding petroleum and ships in July 2019 increased by 30.0%.
