Long queues have been registered today in the border between FYROM and Greece as a result of the strike started by Greek customs authorities and this has led to the circulation of lorries to be blocked.
This chaotic situation has been registered in the border crossing points of Bogorodica, Dorjan and Medzitlia.
“Auto Moto Macedonian Transport” association informed today that transport companies must avoid border crossing points with Greece due to the strike. Meanwhile, the movement of buses and cars is allowed in Bogorodica and Dorjan, as a result of the tourist season.
In Medzitlia, crossings are only allowed on particular times. The strike of Greek authorities will continue for 24 hours and the motive relates to demands concerning working conditions of Greek customs officials. /ibna/
