Greek coastguard in search for missing migrants after their boats overturned

Since early Moday morning the greek coastguard is carrying on a rescue operation to find the missing migrants that have fallen into the sea after their boat overturned off the Coast of Samos island in the Aegean.

The Coast Guard has so far located 36 migrants and is in search for an additional 25, since according to some of the rescued migrants the two boats carried around 60-65 people.

The migrants who have been rescued are transferred to Samos.

The Coast Guard is being supported by a Frontex vessel, a Hellenic Navy ship, a Super Puma helicopter, three fishing boats, civilian divers, a cruise ship
