The Greek ambassador to Skopje, Teoharis Lalakos has sent two notes of protest, one addressed to the government and the other to the Foreign Ministry of FYROM in relation to the violence against refugees on the border.
Ambassador Lalakos said that what happened in Idomeni where Macedonian police intervened violently, was unacceptable.
“Ambassador Lalakas said that the use of violence doesn’t help in solving the problem with refugees and is in direct violation of international and humanitarian rights”, the reaction says.
These notes of protest invite senior state officials in FYROM to respond adequately and show maturity and seriousness. /balkaneu.com/
