Greece: Mitsotakis participated in a teleconference on COVID-19

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis took part in a teleconference with six leaders from around the world, who managed to successfully contain the first wave of the pandemic.

In the teleconference, which focused on the exchange of experiences and good practices, the seven leaders analyzed the measures taken in a timely manner to reduce the spread of the virus in order to give health systems time to cope with pressure and save lives. The strategies examined by each country for the gradual de-escalation of restrictive measures and the transition to a new norm were also discussed.
