Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met this morning at the Maximos Mansion with the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis welcomed the launch of the Enlarged Strategic Partnership Forum, stressing that it is an excellent basis for mutually beneficial economic co-operation between the two countries, with an emphasis on attracting investment and further enhancing bilateral co-operation in all areas.
During the meeting of government delegations of the two countries, issues of mutual interest were extensively discussed, in the context of the expanded strategic partnership between Greece and the UAE, the strengthening of the economic ties between the two countries, as well as regional developments.
It is noted that the UAE Secretary of State is in charge of a delegation of 30 officials visiting Greece in the framework of the Enlarged Strategic Cooperation Forum, thus sealing the substantial strengthening of bilateral relations, following a recent visit of the Greek PM to the United States.
The UAE Minister of State referred to Greece’s strong presence at the “Expo 2020” exhibition to be launched in Dubai in October and gave the Prime Minister a bracelet with the exhibitions’ insignia./ibna
