Today, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
During their talks, the two leaders reaffirmed the historic ties between Greece and Egypt in many areas. They also exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest, confirming the importance of strengthening coordination both at bilateral level and in the framework of their tripartite cooperation with Cyprus.
The two heads of state also reaffirmed the convergence of views and interests between the two countries in the Eastern Mediterranean. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Abdel Fattah El Sisi restated their will to strengthen bilateral cooperation at all levels and especially in the areas of security, defense and economy./ibna
