Foreign Minister Hoxhaj thanked ambassador Athanassiadou for the decision that the Greek Office took to issue Schengen visas in normal passports and in diplomatic and official passports of the Republic of Kosovo.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj has received in a meeting on Thursday the new chief of the Liaison Office of Greece in Pristina, ambassador Kostantina Athanassiadou.
During this meeting (photo), minister Hoxhaj said that Greece is an important partner of Kosovo and its regional neighbor.
“Kosovo values the support that Greece has given and continues to give in order for our country to build its Euro Atlantic perspective”, said Hoxhaj.
He said that the visit of the deputy prime minister and Foreign Minister of Greece, Venizelos in February in Pristina, reconfirmed the fact that the two countries treat mutual relations with respect and great dedication.
Minister Hoxhaj said that the new head of the Greek Liaison Office in Pristina, ambassador Kostantina Athanassiadou expressed their joint engagement to further strengthen relations between Greece and Kosovo.
The meeting also discussed new bilateral projects between the two countries in the months to come. Parties talked about the holding of a joint economic forum in Greece. /ibna/
