The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will go to Albania tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20, where he will meet with the state and political leadership of the country.
Initially, the Foreign Minister will meet with acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Albania, Gent Cakaj.
Discussions will focus on issues of bilateral, European and regional interest, with emphasis on the course of Greek-Albanian relations, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region and the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
The Foreign Minister will then be received by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, and the President of the country, Ilir Meta.
During his visit, he will also hold talks with the Presidents of the Democratic Party and the Union for Human Rights, Lulzim Basha and Vangelis Doule, respectively, as well as with Greek businessmen operating in Albania.
Finally, the Foreign Minister will meet with Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durres and all of Albania./ibna
