American actress Lily Tomlin is nominated for “Golden Globe” Best Actress in a comedy or musical for the film «Grandma» by Paris Kasidokostas.

The film «Grandma», written and directed by Paul Weitz tells the story of El Ryde.

A woman who has just separated from her partner when her granddaughter unexpectedly appears asking for 600 dollars, which she must have by sundown. So the two of them spend the whole day in search of a loan, making unannounced visits to old friends and loves. Secrets from the past come to the surface.

The film is a production of «1821 Media» production company of Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis and Terry Dougas, which was created in 2005.

The ceremony for the “Golden Globe Awards” will be held on January 10.
